RICHMOND

RICHMOND

A retreat in the Blue Mountains. Enveloped by the forest and clad in striking blackened timber, this architectural home in the Blue Mountains is both bold and quietly immersive. Designed to embrace the raw beauty of its surroundings, the structure feels both sculptural and displays an elegant silhouette against the dramatic landscape.

Inside, a seamless interplay of concrete and timber sets the tone: cool, grounded surfaces softened by warm, tactile details. The interiors are minimal yet expressive, with large picture windows framing sweeping views of the shifting mountain light. The living area centers around the Camaleonda sofas—their organic, modular forms echoing the undulating terrain beyond. Artwork throughout the home mirrors the jagged lines and misty contours of the mountain ranges, blurring the boundary between indoors and out. This is a house designed not just to look at the landscape, but to live within it—modern, grounded, and deeply connected to it's environment.
